How Forsea received over 2000 summer job applications with the help of Adsup.

BACKGROUND

ForSea is a Danish-Swedish workplace that connects the Öresund region. The work at ForSea takes place both at sea on the ferries and at the ports. Adsup began collaborating with ForSea at the beginning of the year, with the first task being to find summer staff for the upcoming high season. ForSea needed to fill a total of 85 positions in service roles within the café, store, restaurant, and terminal. Having a strong customer focus and being a good team player were the most important criteria. ForSea needed to find the right talents quickly, as many positions had to be filled. Since it was about summer jobs, ForSea’s primary target group was individuals aged 18-25.

SOLUTION

Due to the large number of positions that needed to be filled, we advertised in phases. The first part consisted of an employer branding campaign to generate interest among the target audience and to be top of mind when the positions were advertised a month later. The second part involved job ads that were posted in phases, with different content for each position. In this way, we captured those who had already taken an interest in ForSea from the previous employer branding campaign, by presenting them with services that matched their specific target group in their respective feeds.

RESULT

Over 2000 applications

ForSea received over 2000 applications competing for the 85 summer job positions. In addition to this, they also received several applications for a variety of other roles, leading to new recruitments in positions such as supervisors, team leaders, port coordinators, deckhands, seamen, and chefs.

Increased brand awareness

Through the advertising and, not least, the employer branding campaign, ForSea has built a strong employer brand with increased brand awareness. This will further facilitate future recruitment efforts.

Social media has been an important channel for attracting the right talent, and we are very satisfied with Adsup, who have been our partner in social media since the beginning of the year. We chose Adsup because they were responsive to our requests, while also challenging us to think in new ways.
